Summer Staff Friends! 


Summer 2011 will be a time of great blessing where every one of the youth that comes to camp at URC will be challenged to live life with a new purpose and mission. Are you up for that kind of summer? It will be tough, but the most rewarding job you’ll ever have! We strive as a staff to become closer to God ourselves, whilst leading the campers into a closer relationship with the Lord too. 
Our summer staff live out their summer in a true team atmosphere - we all pitch in together and serve one another. Whether you are a counselor one week, working in the kitchen the next, life guarding, leading archery, instructing ropes course, leading a Bible study or worship, or simply getting to know your campers, we all have the common goal of enabling children and youth to have a safe and fulfilling Christian camp experience at URC. Through doing this you will have fun, make new friends, and grow in your faith.

Please pray about this upcoming summer and the staff we will be selecting. God uses us in many ways and our desire is to follow what He would have us do.   • Staff Training typically starts in late May, and we close early August

  • $1,700 summer pay

  • Free laundry and internet access

  • Mid-summer break - Around July 4th

  • 24 Hours off every week - every Saturday

  • Opportunity to witness and lead 60-100 campers per week of the summer
