CURRENT PROJECTS - SPRING 2008   

• Picnic Tables - Some of our picnic tables need to be replaced. Maybe you’d like to buy a replacement picnic set for URC, or your church would like to build one. We’d appreciate your help!

PROJECTS UPDATE - SUMMER 2008 

• We have been thrilled to have NOMADS again this year.  They have done an amazing job on giving the "Pavilion" an "Extreme Makeover".  The pavilion has a new dropped ceiling with new light fixtures, new tile floor, has been completely re-painted, and the two bathrooms have brand new toilets and sinks.  It really looks like a new building and we have been excited to share it with all the campers this summer

• We were excited to have two successful WORK DAYS this past Spring.  We were able to do lots of yard work, trail work, yurt platforms built, cleaning, painting, trim, cabinet installation, instal new water fountain, and replace all our outdoor security lights at the camp.  THANK YOU to all the people who gave so generously of their time and use of their equipment to help work for the ministry of Uskichitto - your work has not gone un-noticed!  It's amazing what we can do when we work together!

• Thanks to some wonderful folks at 1ST UMC CROWLEY, we have two brand new yurts built on deck platforms for our outdoor camping village here at Uskichitto.  The camp site looks great - and our outdoor camps, such as "Christian Survivor" have once again been a huge success!
